Each type has different charging requirements regarding voltage and current levels.   Connect Charger Connect the charger's positive (red) clip to the positive terminal of the battery and the negative (black) clip to the negative terminal. Ensure a secure and proper connection.   Multi-Stage Charging: Lead acid batteries should be charged in multiple stages, including bulk charging, absorption charging, and float charging.
